An early leadership project, and potentially the first true ‘sustainable guidelines,’ the environmental master plan prepared by Croxton Collaborative Architects for HBO in 1990 established the notion of a full-spectrum, long-term environmentally conscious approach to headquarters facilities planning.
The analysis and report covered all 15 floors of the HBO headquarters in New York City, creating full environmental / sustainable guidelines, featuring Indoor Air Quality monitoring and recommendations; environmentally sensitive habitation, operation and maintenance protocols; and recommendations on sustainable building materials, products and finishes for future renovations.
The report also featured results from DOE 2.1 energy modeling simulations and analysis, to develop energy efficiency potentials.
